James Green came out and assessed all the oak trees, 5-6 in all, 3 of which are probably >150yrs old. He and his crew are knowledgeable about both the health and asthetics of the trees. They were all super professional and friendly. He gave us an estimate and stuck to it. Lastly, the clean up was impeccable. you’d never know any work was done. We’ve had trees lifted in the past and I can say he is very reasonable. We will be calling on him again when the time comes. 5+⭐️

Deidra Wynne2023-02-18Like so many, I was incredulous and absolutely crestfallen by the sheer volume of massive Live Oak (and my sweet Cedar Elm) limbs having collapsed under unbearable weight of ice in first nights of February 2023. I wouldn’t let my dogs out back for fear of giant dangling limbs. My neighbors found James Green, were thrilled with his (and supporting cast’s) work, and provided me their confidence and his contact info. James assured me he’d get to my work soon, and was true to his word with timely text communication days out, and hours leading up to, the time he had earmarked for me. I’m one to stand out there and watch ya’ll, and I can tell you James moved deftly and professionally up high in these trees with AWE-inspiring series of footholds and lunges, like he was one with them. He is a natural climber, and the safety harness system is an extension of him. I’ve hired crews that did not use harnesses before; not a great feeling. James demonstrates absolute mastery of physics and, while I did not expect to enjoy any aspect of this horrific storm ordeal, watching him climb then take important moments up there to evaluate/problem solve how best to safely and gently cut away and lower enormous entangled crown sections to earth, first securing them with rope, was actually an art form. I had Buick-sized sections wedged, suspended at side yard and had NO clue how they could be removed without hitting roof edge, window, or fence below. No challenge too great for Green Tree! I notice things like the manner with which proprietors speak to persons working for them, and it’s obvious his guys are treated well, respect James, and are comfortable to approach/seek a moment of consultation from him, when necessary, to get things accomplished safely and to his high professional standards. I appreciated the chipper they brought, because we’ve all simply had enough of waiting weeks for the city. MOST importantly, when you choose an accredited arborist that is James Green, you have someone who EXPERTLY, genuinely cares for the long-term viability of these treasured resources. I’m so relieved!
